FAQ
Q. What is an audiologist? A. An audiologist is a professional with a university degree, either a master’s level degree or clinical doctorate degree in audiology. An audiologist has studied hearing disorders and rehabilitation for hearing disorders. They provide audiological assessments to determine the type, degree and configuration of the hearing loss and can specify the correct rehabilitation. If hearing instruments are part of the rehabilitation an audiologist can also write a prescription for the instruments and dispense them. |
